The incident that took place in Shamshabad of Hyderabad has left the entire nation in shock. Incident took place on 27 November 2019, when Dr. Priyanka Reddy, a veterinary doctor, scooter got some issue so she parked her scooter near the Shamshabad toll plaza. According to police, accused saw Dr. Reddy parking her scooter and planned to rape here. When Prinkaya came to take her scooter back, it was puncher by accused.On the name on helping Priyanka, accused take her and her scooter to repair it. Later they made the doctor to drink alcohol forcefully, gangraped the lady ,and later in order to leave no evidence they burnt the victim alive using victim.
Mohammed Pasha, Jolly Siva, Chenna Keshavulu and Naveen Kumar has been convicted prime accused for this brutal crime.Three accused belongs to age group of 20-23 years and one is around 31 years old. All accused belongs to driver, cleaner, sweeper work groups.
This incident has remembered us the Nirbhaya Incident that took place in Delhi on 16 December 2012. At that time the whole country stood as one. We got promises that in future no such incident will take place in the country. But, the scenario remains the same. Record show that instead of decrease in number of rape across country it is increasing every year.
As usual a long trail be done against those culprits. They will be put into prison,they will be provided with all necessary stuff like food, shelter & protection. I don't think they deserve any of these, once the crime has been proven against them they should be either should be hanged in public or should be burnt alive or shoot. They should be punished in way that from next time no one will even think of committing such crime. According to me they should be burnt alive, like they did it with the victim.
After this incident all country is anger. Everyone is protesting in their own way, someone is taking Candle March , some are taking the help of social media to express their anger. I think these methods are not going to help in any of the ways.
We belongs to the country, where when it comes to the prestige of a woman , we have destroyed the kingdom. RAMAYANA is one example , in which Ravana was killed with entire kingdom only because he tried of thinking to demonis the prestige of Sita. Duryodhan was killed because he harmed the respect of Draupadi. I think we should adopt same strategy to deal with these culprits today's also.
Prime minister of our country Mr Narendra Modi has given a slogan "Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao" . But this incident has proved that the slogan is only in paper ,not in real life.What is use of such slogan if we are getting failed of saving daughters, sisters, mothers life, respect, prestige.
One good news has came from Hyderabad about this incident is that BAR COUNCIL (Committee of Advocate) have decide to not fight the case of those four criminal. Chief Minister of Hyderabad has promised that Fasttrack court will look in the case and try to punish the culprit as soon as possible.
